Last week I reached a tipping point in my mental health and realised I was using social media to self sabotage. By using it, I thought I was escaping the world and all my problems, but in fact, it was fueling them.
I decided to take a week off and see how I felt after. A week on, I've deleted Instagram and TikTok and I've never felt better. I feel more awake, more positive about myself and more present. I don't know how long this will last, as I've deleted things in the past and come back to them, but I think this is going to turn into a long term thing.
