I would love to make decent money with my writing. The truth is, when I sit down to write I have to write for me and write what I'm passionate about. When I try and do something clever to tune into peoples' tastes, it usually goes wrong. As a result, I rarely give a thought to how 'well' it will do monetarily - but perhaps that's the problem....
