I agree with many of your points, but I also appreciate that writing about money on Medium can increase overall transparency.

I benefited a great deal from these articles when I started on Medium as I started to believe making money here was even possible. There is a place for these type of articles - if you don't like them - you don't have to read them. And ironically, by writing this, you are feeding into what you want Medium writers to avoid (writing about money.)
